🌈 Our Vision
Creating a Softer, More Understanding World
At Huglets, our vision is simple: to bring comfort, connection, and understanding into a world that often moves too fast to notice the people who need gentleness the most. We believe everyone deserves to feel seen — especially those living with chronic pain, invisible disabilities, fluctuating mobility, and the quiet challenges that aren’t always understood.
Huglets was born from lived experience. Navigating fibromyalgia, chronic back problems, and life as an ambulatory wheelchair user has shown me how easily people can be overlooked, questioned, or misunderstood. Some days I walk, some days I roll, and every day I see how important awareness and compassion truly are.
Our vision is to change that.
To create a space where comfort is valid, rest is respected, and no one has to justify their needs.
To design companions that offer emotional support, spark conversations, and gently raise awareness for the realities so many of us live with.
To build a community rooted in kindness, softness, and the belief that everyone deserves a little comfort they can hold onto.
Huglets is more than a brand — it’s a movement toward empathy.
A reminder that small things can make a big difference.
And a celebration of the strength it takes to live authentically, however your body moves through the world.
This is our vision:
A world where comfort is accessible, differences are embraced, and every person feels understood.

A Little About Who I Am and Why I Create
Hi, I’m Kimberley — the heart, hands, and imagination behind Huglets. I’m a creative entrepreneur, a storyteller, and someone who has learned to navigate life with fibromyalgia, chronic back problems, and the unique reality of being an ambulatory wheelchair user. Some days I walk, some days I roll, and every day I’m learning to honour my body, my limits, and my strength.
Living with fluctuating mobility has shaped not only how I move through the world, but how I see it. I’ve experienced the misunderstandings, the invisibility, and the assumptions that ambulatory wheelchair users often face. I’ve felt the weight of chronic pain, the exhaustion that comes from simply existing, and the deep need for comfort — emotional as much as physical.
Huglets was born from that need.
From the quiet moments when I wished I had something soft to hold.
From the days when comfort felt like a lifeline.
From the desire to create something gentle, meaningful, and full of heart.
I wanted to design companions that make people feel seen — especially those living with chronic illness, disability, anxiety, or the everyday overwhelm of being human. Every Huglet carries a little piece of my story: resilience, softness, and the belief that comfort should be accessible to everyone.
But beyond the plushes, Huglets is also my way of raising awareness.
Awareness for chronic pain.
Awareness for invisible disabilities.
Awareness for ambulatory wheelchair users who often fall between the cracks of understanding.
Through my work, I hope to create not just products, but connection — a community built on kindness, empathy, and the reminder that gentleness matters.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my journey, and for welcoming Huglets into your world. I’m so grateful to share this space with you.
